Hey All,

..just a quick post to check in as the site has not been updated in awhile.  Saturday handicaps continue every week at 10am.  Please arrive by 9:30 to sign up.  Also, with the days getting longer some of us meet for a round on Wednesdays at 4:30pm.  We decide the format when we get there but it is usually just singles, sometimes form the blues if there is interest.  We will be keeping you posted on future events, expect a fundraiser sooner rather than later.  As usual, please call with any questions.

The annual Okeeheelee Ice Bowl is taking place Saturday February 2nd.  Please see the tournament page for more info.

All proceeds from the Ice Bowl go to the Daily Food Bank.  The Okeeheelee Disc Golf Club has provided over 18,000 meals for the needy over the last few years.  The event is always a lot of fun and it’s all for a good cause, so come out and enjoy some golf while making a difference in your community.

We kicked off the inaugural Okeeheelee fall sanctioned league on Saturday 10/20.  We had 8 people play (unfortunately the Orlando Open was taking place as well) and the conditions, though hot, were perfect for low scores and lots of fun.

Dan Rigg took first place with a sizzling 999 rated 49.  There were 10 different CTP give aways including two free CTP holes.

Come out next Saturday and enjoy the toughest course around while improving your rating!

Check In starts at 9:00 am.  Last round must be finished by 1:30.

Hey all,

The course is in great shape right now, freshly mowed with two new basket placements.  Hole 11 and Hole 13 have both been moved and make the course even more challenging, better utilizing the park’s elevation.  Come out and check it out.

Hole 7 is currently in the short position but will be moved this Saturday if all goes according to plan.  Dan is working on a bulletin board for the practice area near hole 1 and we should have it up relatively soon.

We are in the early stages of planning a one day tourny fundraiser.  Check back soon for more updates.

We are gearing up for the WeeHee at Okeeheelee this Saturday.  You can sign up at the link provided or by calling Dan at 561-231-3018 before Wednesday.  For those of you who have not yet played in a Tour Del Sol event, we strongly recommend that you try to make it.  The events are specifically designed to help introduce people to the sport and provide a friendly atmosphere to for those who have not yet had much tournament experience.

For you tourny vets, come tackle Palm Beach County’s most difficult course and enjoy the chance to beat Dan Rigg on the course he designed!!!!
